Westclyst Reception visited the Bear Trail for a wet and muddy day on Monday 5th July. Throughout the day, the children showed enthusiasm, determination and courage to complete the course. Some of the children were a little hesitant to start with, but with the support and encouragement of their friends, they got fully stuck in. The adults also had a wonderful time climbing on obstacles and jumping in muddy puddles.
We then sat down for our delicious lunch, in the sun and shared our experiences with our friends, discussing what our favourite part of the day was. After our fantastic day, photos and videos were shared to highlight our best moments, one being whizzing down the slide and getting splashed with muddy water!
The Bear Trail taught us new skills such as resilience, team work and bravery and we thoroughly enjoyed our day. We are so lucky to have had a wonderful day to end our year in Reception.
