Year 1 & 2 Nativity Performance

The Year 1 and 2 children from Broadclyst and Westclyst had a fantastic time performing their Nativity, ‘Follow the Star’, last week.

After lots of hard work learning lines, dances and singing songs they put on three excellent performances. The Narrators and leading Star eloquently took their audiences on a journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem, alongside heart-warming solos and two festive choreographies. It was clear how much time and effort the children had put into learning an impressive number of lines. The songs were a mix of old and new, finished off with an enthusiastic performance of ‘Snow is Falling’, from both children and audience alike.

Owen summed up the performance, “I loved all of it!”. Lillie-Mae added, “I felt nervous at first but when it came to the performance I really enjoyed every part”. “The best bit of the Nativity was the finale, snow is falling, because we got to dance and learn some really fun actions” said Rosie. Noah summed it up perfectly, “seeing the Mums and Dads smile made it all worth it”.
